Grant Details: SCA wants to help educators make a lasting environmental impact on the planet’s next generation--in the classroom and beyond.

SCA’s Environmental Education Grant Program was developed in 2007 to support sustainability projects and curriculum in elementary, middle and high schools in areas where SCA has operations or offices. Since the grant’s inception, SCA has awarded nearly $170,000 in environmental education grants to 80 schools and non-profit organizations.

Past grants have supported environment curriculum development, school gardens, recycling and composting initiatives, environmentally focused community days, research and much more.

Projects must have an environmental or sustainability focus, and must directly benefit the school and/or its students.

You can apply for: Master level: $1,500 to 5,000 or Honors level: $100 to $1,500

Eligibility: Applicants must be a part of or affiliated with a K-12 education institution that is in or around the following areas: Barton, Ala; Bellemont, Ariz.; Flagstaff, Ariz.; Bowling Green, Ky.; Philadelphia, Penn.; South Glens Falls, N.Y.; Greenwich, N.Y.; Neenah, Wis.; Menasha, Wis.
