CVS Caremark's Community Grants for Public Schools

Category: Academic Enrichment, Disabilities, Health
Type: Corporate Grants
Grant Details: CVS Caremark is committed to building healthier communities. Through the CVS Caremark Community Grants Program we provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that are providing much-needed access to health care for underserved populations; wellness and prevention programs that are aimed at helping people achieve their best health, including those in public schools; and programs that are helping all kids on their path to better health – with a focus on the critical years of development from birth to age five.

We work to ensure that students are not left behind in school. Proposed programs must be fully inclusive where children with disabilities are full participants in an early childhood, adolescent or teenage program alongside their typically developing peers.

The grant application process for 2013 ends on October 31, 2013 and grants are awarded on a rolling basis. Qualifying organizations are eligible for grants of up to $5,000.

Eligibility: Organizations must be serving communities where CVS Caremark has a business presence. This includes organizations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico with the exception of Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Arkansas.
